Need somewhere to think out loud,

6sl works, loss of 37, just took 1 messing about counter trend so yeah.

Tempted to just auto set the TP at 7 or 8, havent even got to watch then, hit buy or sell and zero after stress, focus on the entry, loss is small enough not to care, profit slightly more.

Issue ofcourse.

Ahhhh, auto sl and tp crap, sl 7 works as 7 for Longs, but 6 for short, increased to 8, so avg 7.5.

Can always increase the tp, if i expect a bigger move, hit close if stuck.

Issue 2 this very quickly turned into a sod it, hit screen game, i took a few hits in a row counter trend blew 250 without realising it, but calming down.

Profitable last few trades, still up nicely.

Another +50 :)

Upside risk, not taking short.
 
Thats annoying, low on chart 38, sl hit 36 odd.

This needs work, i can play it, in sideways markets, but im failing in trend, but i know the answer i think.

Short 47, tp 40 missed by 1pt, ahhh for no spread and a 1 comm charge, loads easier.
 
Sl to 8 getting knickel and dimed at 6 too much.

Tp out to 15, always happy to take 15, can move up or down easy.

Back to manually closing, happy to take 3 or 4, holding for 7 just turns a bad trade that goes tad positive into a loser. And kills good trades to early.

Turned into too much of a dont care game, this is real money, need to remember this.

After, loads of small profits, very few losers, back to killing losers when SL hit likely early to.

Better get to work, enough trading for 1 day.

+$100 area still, should of walked away before lol
 
Still after a objective if not laggy ofcourse method of telling the trend.

Currently looking at speeding up the BB to 10sma 2.5Dev.
20ema is looking promising, if the 10sma is > 20ema then Play longs.

My Chop trading has improved hugely and my trend trading has gone to hell, still can't find the balance / mindset to work with both.

Making $$$'s, by experience and being pretty close method wise, BUT I want, much more stable and consistent profits and bigger profits, less losses pretty much, yep GRAIL :)

Think SL back to 10, no fixed TP, not saying I won't scalp out a lot, but if in and get a move outside of the BB range, good odds it'll uptrend for a bit, need those profits aswell.

90% won't break, they'll chop and waste time, which is where the chop method goes in, making 4 - 10pts repeatedly, losing some 10pts ofcours, but 10% of the time breaking out, so likely get 50% of those 10%.

Next, how accurate is the 8am till 9:30 DAX Chop time!!

Todays, stupid run of trades after the fact, how STUPID where they!!

( Method is faster, 10 not 14 )

9:40am Short 10975 errrm, price already broken up WTF, must of been playing prev high, I don't believe in those so errr doh!!

9:58am Long 10985, uptrend, lower BB, chop play will allow it, could of easily retested highs or above!

10:12am Long 10966, chop in downtrend = PAIN

10:18am Long 10964, Same trade really doh!!

10:22am Long 10957, same trade doh!

10:25am Long 52, Same, down spike took me out, was getting nearer LOL

10:31am Short 60, finally right side, sadly trend turned! fast spike cost me quickly.

7 Losers in a row, total damage -$353 eccckssss!!

2 where okay trades in theory, 5 where just STUPID!!

Classic, Counter trend trading mistake, I admit I was playing around, randomly clicking pretty much, didn't really expect all would lose, methods imrpove Trend wise so fingers crossed, no screwing it up tomorrow am!!

Find out in 13hours time I guess!
 
DAX Long 10811, uptrend looks promsing into the close.

10832 here, Top BB coming down, 37, KILL 31, didn't like that reversal, quick +$150, thanks!!

Back to 37 drattts!!

+$350 today, Cut out the Stupid trades and +$600 area.

38, looking like +30 would of been on the table, but hey!
 
Right Method is Locked solid ( said this before ).

Time to learn to trade it like a Pro ( yep I hear it LOL )

So there are only 3 trade setups with this which are worth playing.

1. Market is going sideways, play either side near the BB's.
2. Market has Trend, take trade with direction near the 10sma / 20ema.
3. Market has a direction ( up ) , pulled back to lower BB, take a long as good odds it'll continue.

Lets settle down, focus on getting 70% area win rate, 2:1 Profit:Loss wise.

Sustain that for a week or 2 ( I'm not patient ), then I can kill the business!!
