Need somewhere to think out loud,

This is stupid, should of took the +$40 and RAN!!!. currently sitting short in a slight uptrend which doesn't really bode well, also it's slight, why trade in slow markets, trade with MoMo fool, exit when it goes flat, as which way it'll come back ?? who knows!!

I should of been jumping on YM short as nice down wave here.

May have to consider this a learning day, not a profit day if they doesn't drop a tad I guess LOL
 
GA Drifted high, couldn't of been nice and retested 1.9600 ohhhh no!!

+$80 here, counts so not the end of the world.

Todays perfomance.

Trade #1 Thought the flow, broke my rules got spanked as expected.

Trade 2 and 3, really good trades, 3 went further but hey.

Trade 4, stupid entry long in DT, got lucky, should of held for +10 more, bad trade.

Trade 5, good entry few seconds late but hey, exit to impatient maybe.

Trade 6, okay entry, should of killed smaller loss near BE, SL'd right where it turned. ouch.

Trade 7, Back in where I got SL'd realised, top of range, good exit to be honest.

Trade 8, STUPID, starting thinking not reacting, counter flow deserved to slap me, knew it failed to act and bail for +$20 a few times, my fault.

Trade 9, Okay entry kinda, failed to take profit, HOPING for a break down, ended up a small loss.

I reckon by trade 8 I was basically knackered, first day after a break and all so basically screwed it up

Stop thinking just trade the direction of the 8 on pull backs to low 8's or 4's range, bail when the trend turns I'd be making GOOD money today.

On the plus side, Method is working PERFECTLY I kid you not, it's simple, it's easy, it's strong, its calling some BIG runners, with more practice and less thinking then the future is looking GREAT :)
 
GA's a utter B###### just hit my 1.9600 for +20 area, typical, 2 more on the SL and I'd of been fine.

I was right, but without being able to time it accurately, it's not worth trying to trade like that.

STOP THINKING!! :)

Trade #1 obviously a loser, ofcourse, not to sure how I manage this feat but hey!!

EJ Short, cluster top, didn't get a good entry, saw downward pressure jumped on in a rush, failed to spot actually the trend is UP, must pay less attention to the past cause it's less relevant than anyone would think.

Annoying, I was setup to take GA long at 1.9423 area, 36.5 currently, 40.4 typical.

I did have the sense to cut the EJ quickly, spotted error put TP in at small loss, just missed it :( then bailed -$62, which is yesterdays profits gone LOL

Need to join the 4 more, with tighter SL's, giving too much back, that would of been $110 area and SL would of high ask 42.8 SL 42.3 that's something.

Fridays suck, motivation lacking!!
 
I'm noticing the faster I make my Envelopes the better, slight tweak, really can't go any faster.

3sma hl/2 Envelope 0.02% for GA, EJ, Gold, US30, 0.05% for DAX, 0.08% for Oil.

7sma hl/2 Envelope 0.05% for GA, EJ, Gold, US30, 0.08% for DAX, 0.20% for Oil.

Trying to get more on the nose, so to speak!!

Skived today, head feels all swimmy not working at all, thought it safer.

3 and 7 get closer to the action of what's happening live, with enough wibble to allow for the noise factor.

I've reduced the size of the charts, want to see what it's doing, not what it's done, creates to much of a bias / thinking and thinking is something I'm better off avoiding I find of recent.

Score on week +$25 seriously, eccckks that's pathetic yet again.

Mainly just lack of effort to be completely 100% honest.

Oil and Gold have been slower of recent, but FX and DAX going wild, keep all 6/7 for when it swaps back around again.

Off out for pizza, there is my $25 gone :(
 
Quick review of current method and it's safe to say, IT's calling the moves perfectly, well getting you in quick enough to take most of the meat.

It's quick enough to react to fast markets and slow trending markets, best to avoid just noise but what isn't.

Get my head around when to enter live with the flow and my account is going to grow very fast I think :)

Monday 10am meeting, back for US an hour or 2, then kids, rest of the week pretty free.

Possible big contract rush job abount to kick in though :(
 
Removing the ability to create a bias is the next issue and looks solved.

It's all basically BS the more i test the more i realise this fact, SR is practically useless, market might be huge uptrend, but doesnt mean it wont down trend without warning, so no point buying a pull back, treat that as a down move and short it, till it becomes a uptrend.

Jump on the 7s direction using the 3 to get a good entry ish, if the 7s direction changes, exit, dont hope.

Other than playing the 7s range in chop I'm not seeing anything else, worth the effort.

To reduce over thinking i have zoomed in, reduced candles down to 20 area, ipad mini has 4 small charts, no more swapping charts about 20 candles.

Every trade pretty much i took with the above rules worked, every other failed.


Whats happened and whats likely to happen although good at calling that, is irelevant compared to what IS happening.

Focusing on macro trends / MoMo, ignore everything else, cant get it much simpler and objective, or can I ?


Think I need a 5 min trade max, okay if its rocking, but if its stalled bail, missed to many other setups yesterday, time is money.
