I will give you some piece of advice, unless you willing to spend 4-5 years studying price, you will waste your time, in fact, giving it 4-5 years won't guarantee you results. If you think about it, it's a bad trade, very few make it.
I think it's the Chinese influence from long ago in this part of the world where red represents good fortune, happiness and the like. Thus red for up. In Japan it's red for up and green for down.
On another note, from what I've seen in a number of threads I think you are wasting your time trying to give advice to that kid. He's just chasing his tail asking off the wall questions thinking he's going to get a TA course here. Or maybe he just doesn't know how to learn something.

An Asian kind of thing. Red is good luck or positive in many countries.
