Need help with math

Trying to find the square root of the equation on this calculator. (picture of calculator posted below)

The calculator gives me an answer of 55537.81
(Because I have no idea what I'm doing) :wtf:

Material I'm reading gives me an answer of 235.7

What buttons on this calculator need I push to get the correct answer of 235.7?

Thanks in advance!

Why is this in trading section? You trying to minimize your losses by square rooting the PnL????

Some young guys will die early due to combat, traumatic tragic accidents, or whatever.

And for the rest, we live till old age.
As we get older, our organs will degrade.
Our brains/minds will also degrade.

So don't laugh at old folks.
Because you will be dying soon too.

What goes around, comes around.
Beware of Karma.

Using Pythagorean Theorem to identify cycles from market
data/price action and form a conclusion on possible direction.

Trying to do better than 200 ticks per trade.

Remember when we had to do this shit by hand, when calculators in class was not allowed? "Show the work"? Oh, the old days. The makers of men.

Which century did you come from @Overnight? So many interesting things "make the men", belt, cane, no calculators...:D

Yet you don't know how the root symbol looks like? Still shocked how someone with that lack of knowledge would ever get involved with trades and investments. Don't those gambling losses hurt over time?

Yes but the Pythagorean theorem is anchored on the assumption that it's a hypotenuse in that the two sides have to form a right angle between them. The waves of any trendlines hardly ever form a right angle, hardly any peaks or troughs so I am not sure how well the Pythagorean theorem would be able to effectively predict the length of any cycle.

You are close. There's a TRIANGLE in every significant price
move between major Highs and Lows. Simply take a look
at the M & W patterns for reference.

Hint: A chart records price and time in 2D
Question: Does price, or any form of energy move only in 2D?

Are you considering the left axis of time and price as forming a right angle? But the price axis is infinite. Or are you going to restrict it to a maximum number? Then what there is a breakout?

I'm considering price and time as one unit within a multi-dimensional perspective.
Waves are not linear, but are bodies in motion, as are all forms of energy.
Since all orbits move in an elliptical motion, once price and time is formulated
into one measure, that measure can be used to pinpoint the ever-moving pattern (reflection of price) for possible direction.

All human emotions/behavior is energy, and we know energy can be measured.

Authors I've studied and still studying who can
definitely explain better than I can..

Bradley Cowan
Timothy Morge
Christopher Grafton
Michael Jenkins
Brice Gilmore
Scott Carney
George Bayer

Enjoy:)
