Hopefully now more will appreciate the need for a Wall on our Southern Border.

Imagine an extremely hot summer in which Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America are scorched. Millions of people from these countries coming to the US because of our established - WE TAKE ANYONE BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW BETTER - even if you do not speak English don't worry. All the free stuff is already in Spanish.

By then building a wall would be too late. It needs to be done now and defended.

I live in southern Arizona. The wall idea doesn't work. Not that I am against a reasonable one... which we have had for years.
Why?
For example
There is a Mexican national who has lived many years in our town. Great guy, master craftsman. Can build/repair anything. Beautiful cement work. I've hired him. His wife is a citizen. Every few years they fight and she calls immigration and they haul him back to Mexico.
Sure, he walked back across the border/desert once. Never do that again. He gets together with some other guys coming back and they pool their money and rent a boat. Come up the California coast a ways and stop at a marina. The guys get off, catch a bus and are back the next day. Sometimes they just stop by a beach and wade in. Once they are a block or two inland, they look like everyone else.

A border wall has some obvious use, but is not the practical answer.
Helping their economy. Heck, helping our economy. Legalizing drugs. The answers are more in areas like that.

We do need a wall. That may not prevent everyone from coming here illegally but it will certainly stop a lot of it. The wall makes total sense along with other measures.
I also like how president trump is playing chess with mexico by telling them to use their military to secure the border or else they get NO aid.

This is like saying you shouldn't lock your home because people can just kick the door down or break the window.

Unfortunately President Donald R Trump has not been able to build the WALL he wanted because most people did not understand the dangers in not having secure borders.

Truth - The size of the wall was a bit excessive but there is still a need for a very clear line of demarcation between others and the US.

I want more than walls. I want manned security and harsh penalties for those that break our rules - HARSH.

At a min 2,000 years of recorder history support the statement that you have to fight for what is yours or it will be taken away from you.
