I am not going to read this entire thread, but Cyber Power has a better deal, I believe, than your NE IBuypower.

Free upgrade to i7-975 is worth a couple of $hundred, at least.

I just got a computer from Cyberpower and couldn't be happier. I laugh at the tightwads on these threads that want to run a low end computer. Good luck in a fast market.

My system held up fine during the "flash crash" on Thursday, while most in my trading room were frozen.

Go ahead and by your POS system from Dell. Those boxes sound like a 747 on the runway and pump out enough heat to warm a small house, which from the sound of some on these threads is probably where the live. In a small house by the runway.

Wouldn't you like to delete this post? Got a lot of stupid in it.

I have had my best experiences with Dell. I got an HP for graduation and didn't like it very much. I upgraded to the Dell Studio and it works like a dream, especially with Windows 7. They are running a promotion til the end of June I think. I found this on their website. Save an additional $50 off systems $699 and above with coupon code: WQQ$MQ0M4JNCWD. Or save $100 off systems $999 and above with coupon code: B980P775CS2Z02. Go to Dell.com/DellU or call 866-914-6077 for details. Offer ends 6/30. I would go with Dell.

How about ZT-systems? Any good?

Costco sells them.

The only important question for a trading machine is "how many monitors will you be running"? 2? 3-4? 5+?
