sorry, must be confusing me for someone else, never heard of it. is it a methodolody? service? ...?
Yeah my bad, had you mixed up with dbanks.
I read through a bunch of your journal, did a couple of searches. Looks like NoiseBox is your trading entry and it appears sometimes exit method. But from what I can glean it isn't strictly a random trade entry mechanism:
Sure, as you wish, just seems your playing a similar game. My close @ 73 was the Dow Cash @ 9100...
.. I am intrigued what is this "noisebox" you speak of?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it's not complicated: if day starts down, buy. if day starts up, short.![]()
the NoiseBox does not try to maximize profits on a trade, it trys to maximize the number of profitable trades. as it was, i bagged the profit and got to reload. a pretty common occurence.
another 1/4 gone @ YM 9290 for +20. this is way way too early for a daytrader exit. could be a very interesting close. NoiseBox always takes profits when offered and does not predict what will happen next.
and covered at 9220 for +30. sweet sweet day so far. leaving lots on the table, but that's ok, that's the NoiseBox style: give up looking for tops and bottoms in exchange for much higher win %.
at this point today looks like a washout. the entry point for a long this AM was missed by a very (very) few points, but the NoiseBox does not chase. if dow doesn't take out the day's highs and revisits the lows, there is a chance at taking a long YM position.
to answer a question raised on another thread: yes, it *is* possible to consistently play the plan. -g-
Would you care to expand on what exactly NoiseBox is as these pithy descriptions seem to indicate to me that Noisebox is something other than a random entry generator. I'm not asking for method divulgence, just general clarification.
Thanks,
