He doesn't consider them failures. Simply learning experiences. Bankruptcy laws exist to provide incentives for risk takers. Risk takers are the ones that create jobs.

However to answer your question, the reason he is so well liked is that he keeps his promises and he gets shit done.

What promises did he keep ? I see a lot of promises he didn't keep. He said he'd build a wall and Mexico would pay for it. He said US GDP growth would be 5-6% and it "would be easy". He said he'd create a new health care plan way better then the one that existed. He said he's lower personal taxes significantly ( did he ? you tell me is your effective personal tax rate higher or lower then 4 years ago ). He said he'd slash the US trading deficit with many countries. And I believe he said he'd do all this while reducing the federal deficit.

Sure, and when I got direct with them and rattled their cage they reported it to the site owner. Which got me thinking just how ridiculous this site was getting. Apparently railing about "blacks" and recommending a civil war solution is a-ok, but not if they personally are in the line of fire. Which of course makes the individual in question a coward who wants others to do the dirty work on their nasty agenda. But point taken as I've said in the past it's clear the site owner is quite alright with racist content and it's not worth my time opposing it.
