NC Senate race turned upside down after Democrat’s corruption revealed

I have to think that the vast majority of that money was just wasted. There was always just one real issue, whether you want a republican or democrat Senate.

The candidates should have just stipulated that each was a dirtbag and that the only issue in the race was control of the Senate. Then spend the money on beer or some sports arena.

The next step is we just go straight to pay-for-vote. Candidates will just literally raise money and buy votes directly and the one who can raise the most money wins.

I like it. eBay could run it as an auction. In close races people would hold off until the last minute to sell their vote, hoping for a spike in bids.
