It was a cheap marketing ploy. They obviously thought the advertising was worth more than whatever amount of beer they were selling at trumps places.

Yeah it sounds like the 50 barrels of custom beer are simply being sold to other bars. This is nothing more than a marketing gimmick taking advantage of a public event story.
