“There is something called Benghazi going on, and I think the Democrats now are starting to worry about it. I started. I got calls from a number of Democrats yesterday trying to undermine Greg Hicks’s testimony, saying he wasn’t demoted. So I think they feel that some damage was done by those three witnesses on Wednesday.”
 
Yes it's scummy to lie to spin the situation for political reasons. But that's what every administration does. This is wrong and Obama should suffer the criticism for it. But it pales in comparison to what happened with the last president. You don't see the self-righteous congress going after their own, do you. I doubt the sincerity of their outrage.
 
Not in a situation where an Ambassador is murdered and then not just not tell the truth but spin an entire false story about it.
