The military trains for that, but that has nothing to do with "coolness under fire", which they also train for.

Coolness under fire has nothing to do with killer instinct, it's about retaining your calm during stress, thinking clearly despite circumstances, etc. The military trains for this in a variety of ways .. by subjecting soldiers to a variety of stimuli to desensitize them, by forcing them to think and make decisions while tired, under stress, hungry, while subjecting them to the sounds of explosions, etc.

Being high from drugs have absolutely nothing to do with clarity, or even training. You can't really train for this, but you can do various escapisms instead of confronting truth and reality of the situation.

What are you talking about ? I'm not sure if you're accusing servicemen of being drug users, or claiming that the military doesn't train people to stay cool in combat situations, or .. other ? WTF are you actually talking about ?
