Noticing that is like noticing religion is obsolete. So what next?
Anywayza, racism and xenophobia within NATO is an established fact and to be different would be uttermost surprising giving the hiring base.
I'm:
- White caucasian.
- Former Soviet Union extended member. Eastern Europe was never Soviet Union, only given the opportunity to join it if they want as we did European Union some decades later.
I think Soviet Union had a lot more going that it was able to reach within the time frame and also even considering detractors, not the worst organisation to handle huge territories.
I'd like to give it a second chance. Vote for:
1) European Union.
2) United States.
3) The Soviet Independent States.

Shops were empty even in the 90's. People had money, but had nothing to spend it on, so they bought alcohol.
Every single person from my fathers side were alcoholics. Him including.
So much of the good old memories about those days.
Capitalism is rotten , but that, - that was a complete disaster, garbage regime that should never again, walk on this earth.
While very first steps of it, were a real hell on earth.

On the side of my mother, grandpa told me a story. He and his brother were trying to make a business selling pigs but it was hard due to all that competition. Grandpa told me a story how he managed to go 40km without being robbed to my village, then a flourishing second tier city, where grandpa met grandma.
But demand was high even at 1913 so he had no choice but to cross the border and work in Germany. War, 1914 when it started then 1916 when we declared it, caught him in the same factory. BTW, I'm still working for Germans now, even though that business was bought by Americans first then Chinese. We still retaine our original 1913 wages which allows grandma to answer the question how we did it without speaking the language, without knowing the culture, without giving a fuck: it's simple if you have money. Just put everything you want in a basket and check out at the end.

That was one side of my family, the one I know most things about. The other one stopped the German Panzers right when they signed the deal with Hungary. The records, if my aunt doesn't burn them, hope point towards an optimal progression towards European Union. They were supposed to kill everyone. Pretty much everyone made it alive. Not good for coronavirus containment but that was not the issue at the time. Were it the issue, coronavirus would have faced 8.8cm flak and commanders who first ask how you family before ordering an airstrike.
