National Review tries to take down trump, ends up with tail between their legs apologizing

All those unemployed in Germany probably had the same sense of desperation that so many trump supporters have. Only for the German people it was somewhat justified.

the media needs to feel like they are important and covering a serious subject like politics. Trump exposes them and their politics for the siliiness it has become and they don't know how to cover something that in their shallow minds is not serious.
I think media hold themselves out as sacrosanct. From which all truth flows. Trump definitely exposes them for the biased morons they are. They don't know how to respond because he's right. Emperor has no clothes.

Trump views the USA as distressed property which can be purchased cheap and developed into something great.

Now, what he calls great and what I call great are different.

If you are a distressed American and you want to be great, he is the guy you want fighting for you.

Hitler is a poor analogy. Berlusconi may be a better one, but candidate analogies in general don't have a lot of utility other than to flatter or smear. Trump is Trump. The establishment on both sides appears to distrust him. Are they wiser than the average voter? Maybe, but both parties have also been taking the path of least resistance for decades when it comes to issues like illegal immigration.

I agree Hitler is a poor analogy. Hitler's name should never be mentioned again just to make a point. But...The atmosphere in America today is very similar to the climate in Germany at the time of Hitlers rise to power. And he was saying many of the same things Trump is now saying.
Hitler had his jews, Trump has his muslims.

The funny thing is, I have yet to hear Trump say anything that is not true or constitutional. For instance "All illegals must go." How in anyway is that not true or constitutional?

The media doesn't know what to do with him. And certainly comparing him or anybody else today to Hitler just isn't worth pursuing.

These National Review guys are such a joke.

First, no one likes to be scolded on who to vote for so this will actually help Trump.

Secondly, if all the "conservative" causes to take up and fight against, this is what they chose? Clueless guys in DC that overestimate their understanding of the real world.

A republican tries to solve problems with the use of our awesome military, commerce and economy
A democrat tries to solve problems with the use of our awesome government
A true conservative like the founder of the National Review tries to solve problems by making sure nobody has awesome power.

as long as both sides think the other side has too much power we are cool.

National Review canned Ann Coulter years ago over some typically outrageous comment she made that riled the liberal media. She called the people running NR "girly men" at the time. It still seems apt.

In an odd way, their criticism might help Trump. He is attracting democrats and independents in numbers no republican since Reagan has managed. Having Glenn Beck criticizing you is not going to hurt that process. Frankly, no one has heard of any of these guys outside of the Capital Beltway and inside it, they have no swing at all.

They seem to think the country is yearning to start more pointless wars and bring in more immigrants. Oh I forgot, Trump wasn't on board with this or that issue, eg abortion. WTF have these guys accomplished with all their columns? We have gay marriage, abortion on demand paid for by the government, hundreds of millions going to Planned Parenthood, muslims being the fastest growing religion, kids can't even show a Bible at school, etc etc. Yet Trump is the problem? Sheesh.

Trump takes it to a new level. I just saw him on FOX and they ended by saying, "We will see you on Thursday on our FOX News Debate!" and he replies, "I don't know, I might be there, but I don't like the way FOX has been treating me lately."

Talk about putting the media on notice. Treat me right you get ratings. Treat me bad I expose you for the worthless shallow scum suckers you are. Without me you are just another bunch of low lifes covering yet another meaningless election.

ah, It's good to finally have somebody fighting for us again
