Timing is everything. I'm kind of surprised the leftist media isn't pushing this mass killing harder given that Trump is harping about this national crisis based on violent crime. Well, in truth, I'm not all that surprised as the "identify" of the shooter doesn't quite fit the narrative. Black ex-con with a violent past illegally owning a gun doesn't push the agenda now does it. Seems unless it's a white guy pulling the trigger the rising body count due to gun violence just doesn't matter as much. This is one reason why the argument of the left doesn't carry as much weight as it could. Take the identity politics as race baiting out of it, and you'll have a better chance of achieving some real changes in firearms polices. Just a suggestion to my leftist friends.
