National Emergency

Biggest risk now is Lindsey Graham talking Trump into throwing DACA into the mix.

That would be soooo wrong for all the reasons I have already posted, but could happen.

If so, then it is open borders for decades to come after that because Trump will have given up the major card to play in return for a comprehensive immigration deal after the court rules on daca. If he did do that, though, I dont think it would make the daca case go away. Several states have cases on appeal that argue that the president does not have the authority to dicker away a legal requirement to enforce the law. If a deal on daca is approved by Congress, well then that is another matter. It would be soooooo wrong though to deal on daca before the court opinion. But if Trump wusses out on that I will make no attempt to try to cover Trumps arse for doing it. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Don't worry Dems have already said they aren't interested in a DACA for wall deal

Why tie DACA to wall funding? Democrats don’t want a wall and aren’t playing ball for it. You have to think a lot bigger like social security or student loans to get democrats to fund a wall.

Believe it or not, republicans want DACA too and it should be, as you say part of a large immigration reform bill.

Update: Department of Homeland Security is going to Davos to drink hot cocoa with bankers while Trump claims there’s a humanitarian crisis at our southern border.

Uhhh

Correction: Democrats dont want a wall or any portion thereof while Trump is president.

Otherwise, Chuckie, Obama, Hillary, Biden, ad nauseam voted for it in 2006.

You keep acting like this is about the wall or daca. It is not. It is about Trump and 2020 and the fact that the person who won the election in 2016 is not the one who had prior-approval from the swamp.

We are in a totally different situation than 2006. I’m sure that doesn’t mean anything to you but it really is a factor.

Trump 2020, it’s now being talked about in White House how Mueller’s report will be horrific for Trump maybe he should make a deal to resign.

You got Rosenstein talking about walking in February that gets a thrill running up my leg in terms of Mueller being ready to go in and around February.

Lol at Trump 2020.

Sure are. Trump is in power rather than Obama.

I thought I made that clear.

Wall was good in 2006. Not good now. All the dems have withdrawn their previous support. See if you can figure out why.

I said "it is about Trump AND 2020" which it absolutely is. Trump could resign and leave for Argentina tomorrow, and absolutely, totally everything thing the dems thought and breathed would still be about 2020, and has been since he was elected.
