National Debt, the cure

Brother Tao...
Don't you remember the "Wizard Of Oz"?
All you got to do is close your eyes, click your heels, and Obama will take care of the rest.

It's a suggestion.
No need to get carried away.
Try not to concentrate on one sentence.
Got anything positive about the other parts of my post?
Oh I'm not getting carried away, just taken aback by your hypocrisy.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT OUR
NATIONAL DEBT

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM THE NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK .ORG

On Sept. 4, 2012 at 6:31pm the national debt clock ticked up to $16,000,300,000,000.
On Sept. 6, 2012 at 1:26pm the national debt clock ticked up to $16,005,591,000,000.

Mathematically, the national debt increased $5,291,000,000.00 in 42 hours & 55 minutes or at a rate of $2,054,757.00 per minute.

ACCORDING TO THE U.S. CENSUS BUREAU JULY 2011, THE TOTAL U.S. POPULATION WAS:
311,591,917 MEN, WOMAN, CHILDREN AND ALL THE ILLEGALS THEY COULD COUNT.
Accordingly, the amount per minute ($2,054,757.00) divided by the total population
(311,591,917) men, woman, children & illegals the costs would only be $0.0066 cents per minute per person to keep the amount of debt from rising any further. Such a payment would not reduce the debt though. Obviously, the logistics of collecting $0.0066 cents from each and every person each and every minute of each and every day would be prohibitive. So lets just assume each and every Man, Woman, Child and Illegal Alien were to pay their fair share annually.
The equation would look like this:
$0.0066 x 60 minutes = $0.40 cents per hour x 24 hours = $9.50 per day x 365 days = $3,466.01 per year, per person, forever. In order to maintain a 16+ Trillion Dollar Debt.

Of course it wouldn’t be fair to ask everyone in the 2011 Census to pay. The young children, the elderly, the stay at home moms, the disabled, the unemployed, the underemployed, the poor, the disadvantaged, even the lazy and the tax cheats are exempt from this debt and will have to be made up for by the rest of the population. And, it certainly would not be fair to ask people making less than $200,000.00 a year to make a $3,466.00 additional payment each year above their already high taxes. That would surely be ridiculous. Imagine what that would do to the economy.
Based on information from the IRS, about 3% of tax returns (3,924,000 returns out of 140+ million total returns) claimed more than $200,000 in adjusted gross income in tax year 2009 (the most current data I could find). Assuming the people making $200,000 and more per year, could magically fart out the additional money needed, how much more would it cost them above and beyond what they are already taxed so they would be paying their fair share?
$2,054,757. Per minute debt divided by 3,924,000 “Three Percenters” equals only $0.52 cents per minute each. $0.52 x 60 minutes = $31.42 per hour x 24 = $754.04 per day x 365 days = $275,224.37 more per year, per Fat Cat, forever.

Do you know all the reasons why I don't vote?

Can you make any positive comments about all the other parts of the post?

Some, but why would that matter? You're telling us we need to control D.C. via the voting booth yet you yourself don't vote. It's hypocrisy, any way you slice it.

It seems to make sense to about 99% of this country. What do you find wrong with it?
Are you a One Percenter or what?

Well hey, as long as we are getting stupid about it, lets just print 16 trillion dollars and pay off the 16 trillion we owe! Then no debt and no need to tax anyone!
