Gazprom outlines consequences of price cap on Russian gas
Such a decision would violate contracts and inevitably lead to a halt in supplies, CEO warns

Plans to set a price cap on Russian gas sales, which are currently being considered by Western leaders, would cause supplies to be halted, according to Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller.

“We rely on the contracts that have been signed. A unilateral decision of the kind is, of course, a violation of essential terms of the agreements which would lead to a termination of supplies,” Miller said on Sunday in an interview with Russia 1 TV.

Europe has already raised natural gas prices 300%. Now, they are trying to cap natural gas prices which means very heavy subsidies from their governments. Problem is nobody wants to pay the higher natural gas prices. The other European NATO countries are trying to convince Germany for pay for their natural gas prices by contributing billions to the collective till. Germany and other countries they are trying to convince to pay have balked and wants each country to be responsible for their natural gas needs including, paying for it. The blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines 1 & 2 will naturally result in less natural gas supplies being delivered to Europe and higher prices due to the added shipping costs. They blew up another pipeline, was it in Poland? They are doing everything to make sure Europe suffers a huge depression, US is next in line for the huge depression. Europe buys a lot of American goods but, the higher natural gas and oil prices will reduce demand for US products. US companies will layoff people and some will just go under.
