Nat Gas trading

is anyone trading nat gas on the screen? I realize the volume is very light (1500/day) but the daily ranges are nice.
also, I wonder if the financial paper nat gas products (Henry hub or basis) are trading well enough on either Clearport or ICE to be worth investigating further?
any info would be greatly appreciated!

I was trading the NG pit contract but have switched to the QG and am very happy with how that is going - fills are great. My volume is no more than 6 contracts at a time so watch for thin markets. I use a StopLimit order for entries and Stop Market for exits.

A nice volatile market.

also, what style of trading are you doing? scalping & daytrading, or more position-type trading?

Yes lots of people are trading Nat Gas on a screen. It is called ICE (www.theice.com)

40-50 lots on what product? NYMEX look-a-likes?

Regardless, if you have access to enough capital to trade OTC or you only want to the contracts that can be cleared via LCH, call ICE and ask them to set you up with a view only trial.

If you're talking about 40-50 Henry NatGas on ICE, the answer is no. It's $75/tick on a 1 lot. The spread btw bid/ask is around 3-10ticks.
