Rich,
I am not one to take sides, however if you were to read the whole thread again you will find that, although I don't necessarily agree with everthing Angrycat has written, you will find there is a common theme in this thread that basically supports the last comments from Angrycat.
In essence, are we going to be a free enterprise society , free of political influence , or become quasi socialist society as a result of a reversal of economic conditions?
Government exits to watch people like Angrycat who only act in their own interest. The world is full of them, and when they can play with my money they will. The crashes in the 1890s, and 1930s were caused bb bank runs, because there were no regulations. We didn't have a crash for 80 years, because every administration enforced the rules. We had a crash during this administration because there was no one watching the chicken house and the wolves were all over the place. Angrycat likes that kind of environment because it is to her benefit. And she tries to protect it. However, tens of millions of people are have paid, are paying, and will be paying for this giant fiasco which her ideology dictates (for her own interest), and personally I would rather see her a little upset than the kind of economic catastrophe that here ideology has brought forth on us. She may be smart -- but I am smarter. I know what I am doing, and so does she.
Free Market is basically a code word for scammers to run wild and rob the public blind. No more, no less. Seen it, been there, done that, finished with it.
