Looking to short Nasdaq for overnight day trade. May begin moving down around 3 am, NY time zone.

as of now, this does not seem to be a wise move.
at this moment, there is no indication price is going down.
Only thing that is going down is Natural Gas.
at this time during Asian session, market is very quiet.
NK, NQ ...are waiting for big boys/news/events ... to move it
trade based on what you see on the chart,
not what you hope to see on the chart,
not what you anticipate is going to happen.
if you think market might move around 3am NY time (European session),
you have to wake up in the middle of the night,
be around during that time, and look at the chart
to see if price is going down or not.

Well, there's certainly no eco news coming tomorrow. I cannot recall the last time I saw a single line entry for an entire calendar weekday over at FF, based on Eastern Time.
Have a sell stop order at 11609. Stop loss at 11645. We'll see what happens.

as of now, no indication NQ is going down.
So I should have bought? I'm day trading, not position trading for days or weeks. Yes my first short got stopped out. My second short is doing very well, while you guys are losing unrealized profit in your accounts.
Today a lot of day traders earned $$$$$$$$$
Today,
during eur session, we longed NQ and Dax.
during US session, we shorted copper, Russell 2000 and NQ.
do note that during US session, copper & Russell 2000 went down first, followed by NQ.
today is relatively easy to trade day.
UP we earned $$$. DOWN we also earned $$$.
Not all days are that easy to trade.
