14:10 Seeing some strange prints on the Nasdaq Comp... Futures and QQQQs don't confirm it though
We're checking around to see if the Nasdaq is having technical issues... we'll post any updates when we get them.
14:16 We spoke to a Nasdaq rep, who said they're aware of the 6-point gap up that some quote services displayed 25 min ago
... they're still checking into the cause.
15:30 Nasdaq follow-up: Nasdaq Comp "drops" 7 points in 5 min... noted earlier the strange prints in the Comp, looks like it has been readjusted
See 14:10 & 14:16 comments. We never heard back from the Nasdaq rep who said they were aware of the strange Nasdaq Comp prints on some quote services (the futures or QQQQs were never affected). It appears that whatever technical issue caused this in the Comp, it appears it has been readjusted.

Market manipulation? You have to be kidding? This whole market is nothing but manipulation. It's like playing in a sandbox and the unseen adult handing you tools, erasing your sand paintings, and kicking over your castles... but sometimes giving you a new toy and helping you build things.
You just want to be on the smaller side... that is, assume that the majority of people must lose money... so you do what the minority does (sell when they buy, buy when they sell). Figuring this out is the hard part
