i don't know if this has been covered, if it's old news, or what, but the WSJ mentioned that NASDAQ is looking at possibly acquiring ARCA.

so much for ARCA being the exchange of the future.

you know, the monsters are so big that they eat all the competition.

With Nasdaq's market share dropping, they might be hearing footsteps of an ECN acquiring them... lol
