10,000 is just a number like bitcoin 15,000 wtf that mean or have any effect in the real economy
 
You have created multiple new threads.

What is your underlying message?

What are you trying to convey?

Are you able to profit from the opportunity / situation?

What is your bottom line?

Are you happy or sad?

Is your account growing or shrinking?

Or you have missed all the opportunities and are simply complaining?
If that is the case, look at things from different view point.

Well, to be fair, you are reporting neither "news" nor trading news. And you have not posted a trade in this thread. Yes, we can see that the NASDAQ is 650 points away from 10,000. Back in February, it was 200 points away from 10,000. That's not really "news", it's just a stat.

As far as being in the worst economic condition since the great depression? That is debatable. We had not just come 10-ish years out of a world war and suffered a dust-bowl. We learned how to mange the soil for food. Oh, the next world war that followed as we slowly started to recover was kind of a bummer, too.

I think the situation here is a bit different. We have more on the table when it comes GNP/GDP, we have more people, we have more credit, etc etc etc. And of course, we have more central bank. Things are different between then and now.

Even Powell said last night that he does not forsee a depression-era depression befalling us. Because of stuff like the aforementioned.

1) Let me start with a simple question: how much of Nasdaq/S&P 500 company´s revenues are being generated in the US? How much aborad?
2) What are the stock component weightings of Nasdaq/S&P 500 companies?
3) Don´t commingle "economy" with "EPS". Two pair of shoes. Why is Amazon outperforming 95% of stock peformance of the rest of the pack?
4) There is a true lack of investment alternatives. Where do you put cash now? Into 0,01% cash account?
5) The message of the FED and policy makers in Washington is clear: do not save monies! Spend!
