Not so sure about that. I think to be a narcissist, you would just care about yourself and not care about others( borderline sociopath). I think a lot of politicians do care about others.

I take your point. IMHO, Idealism and Realism are disparate political tenets in today's reality.

Well, just look at how most environmental and even some product safety regulations grandfather in existing, non-compliant Companies and technologies.
