Shouldn't be difficult at all for an "investigative journalist" to find those names. This of course assumes that the media actually wants to know, considering they're in the hot seat as well. Right about now they're all wishing for a re-set button.
 
Ive been readong some conflicting claims about this story, saw someone on the news the other day claim that the 15million dollar fund wasnt just for sexual assault allegations but also for people making claims against them for not having proper wheelchair access, and all kinds of other disputes.
 
I agree with name the names but I don’t agree with taking the financial responsibility from congress as an institution. I know this will be unpopular but it is the right thing to do.

When a person is sexually harassed on the job, they sue the company, not the person who did the harassment. Often times the person who harassed is terminated to mitigate any damages and make the workplace free of harassment.

Ultimately the financial responsibility and discipline should fall on congress as an institution to 1. Find and remove harassment and 2. Compensate any legitimate claims.

If Congressmen/women have to pay out of their pocket there is no guarantee of payment or responsibility to provide a workplace free of harassment for the employees.
 
actually the person and the entity are frequently sued.
then the shareholders of the entity get to sue the entity for improper oversight.

One thing I think is clear, Congress should not be keep these names hidden.
We see that Conyers may be one of the offenders.
 
I have no issue with the money, be it the amount or who pays it. My position is since it was taxpayer dollars, the taxpayer has the right to know who we're paying to defend. They want to keep it secret then they can pay their own way. Do one or the other, can't be both. Name the names.
