N. Korea no longer a nuclear threat

Trump defended North Korean leader Kim Jong Un over the death of American college student Otto Warmbier, whose family says he was “brutally tortured” while imprisoned in North Korea and died in 2017 after being flown back to United States in a coma, the Washington Post reports.

Said Trump: “I don’t believe he would have allowed that to happen. It just wasn’t to his advantage to allow that to happen.”

He added that Kim “feels badly about it… He tells me he didn’t know about it, and I take him at his word.”

This really is an issue that the Democrats and Warmbier family should strongly lay into Donald Trump on. This type of issue would resonate strongly with the American public and quickly make mince-meat of Trump's efforts to appease King Jong Un.

Should at least cost him Ohio

This is an issue that actually could have "political legs" but the Democrats have for the most part ignored it.
They are. They definitely should act on it the way republicans would. Hypocrite republicans would be losing thier fucking minds if this was Obama.

You are correct. (Sad to say).... and Democrats should use the issue the exact same way now.

The policy bottom line however goes back to the era of Teddy Roosevelt - we will not tolerate countries imprisoning (without cause), torturing, and killing Americans. If your country does this then immediate military retribution in full force will be enacted.

Actually, this was pretty much the one single issue trump could point to and say was a success, until he failed that is.

I just don’t know where trump can point to and legitimately be able to say the American people are better off.
