Yep today I am down big, -$1257 ouch. Took stops on the way down from weekend inverse holds.
Rebought small SQQQ SOXS SDOW at end of day in case market drops tomorrow. Still very bearish big picture but willing to admit when I'm wrong and take modest stops when market fux me, I'm a trader.
Today's rally makes little sense imho but that's irrelevant, price action is all that matters. I will scale into TQQQ if it continues up.

is -$1257 realized or unrealized lost? if it is unrealized, what happen to your rules that maximum lost amount for you is $500/day. did you break your rule?
Good point. S&P 2650 was resistance, I won't go size in inverses until we stay under that for at least a couple days
Great question,
Some of both; stops taken out on way down were realized, left some open and rebought at close/low of day.
since gaps down totalled more than 500 premkt, couldn't limit to that.
Lessons learned: if I could redo today my risk mgmt was correct; might have bought TQQQ as a hedge though
