MySpace Showing Sick Animal Cruelty!

In light of recent animal cruelty displayed on MySpace, we, the undersigned, call upon MySpace to remove all videos depicting animal abuse, and screen future videos to make sure cruelty never appears on MySpace.com again.

Incidents in the past have shown a cat being thrown hot water on, a snake eating a mouse, a cat being poured bleach on while it was sleeping, and a video of animal dissections and live animal testing. These videos have no place on a website like MySpace.

Update: Another video to be added to MySpace's hall of shame: A pig getting his head cut off by a man, with a chainsaw. The man is later seen laughing.

Another update: New video to be added to the hall of shame: Seen in the 'humorous videos' section, a polar bear is driven mad by its captivity. How is that humorous?

Update (Nov. 30th): for people who email me saying this is like turning a blind eye to the problem, this is not true. I've created a group Again Cruelty on Myspace, on this site, if anyone wants to join it. Also, every video we find gets sent to the FBI, SPCA, IDA, etc. So no, we're not trying to turn a blind eye to it - we are actually getting these people prosecuted. Thank you.

These are the most sick perverted videos I have seen in my life. That video where the guy used the remote to his sunroof to chop the cats head off made me want to vomit.

We would all like to think these type events are few are far between. They're not! Hundreds, probably thousands of animals are tortured and/or abused on a daily basis in this country alone. Those that are entertained and amused by such actions are as sick as those that perform the acts of cruelty.
I'm a long ways from a bleeding heart, but seeing and knowing what kind of abuse is being done to these animals makes me see red. Should you see it, try to stop it. That, and please spay/neuter your family pets.
 
While I am against animal cruelty as well, you should be aware that the video with the cat's head being "chopped off" by the sunroof is fake.

It is a viral advertisement release online to promote the Ford Sportka. There are several varieties of the ad.
