MySpace, Facebook losing popularity......

Quote from DanFan78:

I just find it so disturbing that just about anyone can look me up and see my picture, who my friends are, what city I live in . . .

Even more disturbing to me about MySpace is the lack of maturity of its users. If someone pisses you off, you drop them from your friends list, or move them below, like, "The Soup" or something. So childish. So sad.

u keep this up and i'm removing u from my friends list...

So I am not the only one that thinks posting so much of yourself on some server is a bad idea?

These users are naive or slightly insane.

Microsoft -------> most mismanaged big company in the US.

MSFT is ALWAYS wrong.

Simple as that boys.

The only thing that has saevd them from a withering attack by activists or greenmailer is teh 11B float and the way it is owned.

Yea, forget that pesky 250+ billion dollar market cap....

its hard to keep up with these networking sites unless you are in college... but i heard facebook just very veyr popular overseas in asia.. so is hi5.com

Myspace is complete shit now. My eyes hurt trying to navigate through someone's profile.

Facebook is still tolerable. There are a lot of third-party apps you can add to your facebook profile these days which do seem to clutter up everything like myspace, but at least you have the choice to remove them from your own profile.

FWIW everyone I know has a facebook account and only a very few that have a myspace account.

Microsoft is the bad guy, they didn't pay much, they just paid $240M and pumped the price up so high to lockout Google, Yahoo and others.
