Since you asked and since I didn't get to take part in lunar landing photo conspiracies, I'll contribute to this amusing conspiracy theory by providing two screenshots, both originating from an IB simulated trading account:
1) Cropped a la MyMiniTrading style.
2) Fuller screenshot which shows the "Simulated Trading" watermark.
Depending on screen resolution, one could theoretically size the window so that the watermark was even less obstructing.
This is not conclusive proof of "fraud" or otherwise...just more fuel to add to the fire
I'm always perplexed why some people become irate when they believe a fraud is being perpetuated. Why does it irk them so?
At any rate, I wish MyMiniTrading good luck and continued success with his journal. I would have to agree with Riskarb that there are perhaps better ways of posting a verified PnL.

Just to chime in with my tidbit..... Yes you can hid it if your only showing 7 orders waiting to transmit as you have... there is a reason you stoped, the 8th order would show parts of the simulated watermark...... If you look at mymini's posts, you will see many of his show MORE than 7, and some show a LOT more than 7........ not saying its definitive proof either way, but its easier to hide it with only 7 orders, show me a screenshot where your able to hide 12 or more.....Also if you look back even further in this journal some of his screenshots show even more than that, one example he had both the current month contract and anotehr month contract for ym showing, and lots of orders between.. i'm guesing at least 15 or more rows showing, it would be EXTREMLY dificult to hide it with that many...

I quite agree, hardly conclusive. However, it is ambiguity that lays the foundation for any great conspiracy theory There is of course an easy way for MyMiniTrading to remove that ambiguity going forward...
Traditional conspiracy theorists could respond that earlier postings were of a real account but subsequently through misfortune, later screenshots are from a simulated account LOL....and so it goes like many conspiracies before....ha!

BTW, there's nothing that can take away MyMiniTrading's outstanding call on the 8th.
Now that I've taken thread waay OT, back to regular programming....

On the otherhand, the picture of his trading set up shows that he was not using a simulated trading account at that time! This is great stuff.....]

The reason I asked for a pic of a demo was I thought it might be
good for all (especially myminitrading) to have the demo shown so
everyone can get off his case about whether he is posting real or
not real trades. Lately, I have gotten the feeling that he is posting
real trades so I thought it best to have everyone see the demo so
we can get this poopin' party over and done with.

My broker clears through RCG and I get EOD statements...nice one Romik, how do I get my hands on one of those? ...
As I said prior, I see no point in PnL journals that do not explain the purpose of publishing that private piece of info (PnL) apart from winning respect from fellow ET members or perhaps stimulating one's whatever they want to stimulate. Don't get me wrong myminitrading, I've got nothing against you, I just truly do not understand the reason, unless you do it in real-time at least. Surely the only person that needs to observe and analyse your PnL is yourself only?
Anyway, I have intruded enough upon your journal and really did not try to be rude by raising this question here, I am simply curious and you haven't answered that question yet, but than again you do not have to.
