i hope you are still within your predetermined risk %age area, as if you are not and instead of 2-5% risk to capital per trade you went 50%...trust me, you heard and read about this before, it will only take 1 bad trade, just 1 wrong decision and your emotions will be triggered and you know the rest, looks like you've been doing really well recently, please stay within your risk levels and build account gradually. Just a friendly advice :)

I've been watching your thread (as you already know) and the last
many days you seemed legitimate. But with the 10X jump in size
all of a sudden (maybe part of your trading plan)? it seems I now
have to watch you even more closely than before.

If your trading is real, then hats off to you. You are doing a great job...:p

If it's not real, then you will be dismembered and disbarred...:D

A few things:

I am not posting under any other handle. Have only been posting since last fall. SO this guy cant be me. He has been here simce 2001

I am not familiar with IB...didnt know they had sim accounts....I will give the minnow the benefit of the doubt and hope his trades are real...if not he really needs to get a life.....but I wouldnt be shocked if he was paper trading ....

If he upped his size 10 fold because I was busting his chops a bit then he is in deep trouble....letting someone else effect your trading is dangerous...but he is an emotional wreck so I guess its possible..The last thing I want to do is drive this guy into trading 100 lots...have him implode...and cause him to go out and seek employment.....wouldnt want him to miss his daily episodes of Oprah each day...

If he is paper trading, I vote for the 2nd option....

Do you know how many people lose all they have using this principle, your size is nothing in relation to institutionals, they will create a dis-balance when you and I least expect it, don't do it man, it's not worth the risk. I don't want to sound as your mother, but you have kids don't ya, safe and steady is king in futures, gamblers will always lose eventually and once you taste the forbidden apple, the lure of success will diminish your rational thinking and that's when...well, i am repeating myself.

I normally risk 1% this required 4% for 20 point wiggle room. 2% is pushing it for myself. 4% was quite foolish and I just pray I have not tricked my mind into thinking its ok, I will be vigilant and enforce that 2%.

if you say so, but your positions size points to 10 times risk increase, unless your stop level is reduced according to your position, therefore, you trade YM right?, from 10 point stop you would be @ 1 point stop and that's nutty, wouldn't you say?

Anyway, stick to the frigging plan man and you'll be all right :D
 
if you really wanna post actual results, ir's fairly easy. in IB, you select FILE, and then select EXPORT TODAYS REPORTS. then you select a folder which to export then into, (or is that import them into?, no matter). then when you wanna link to them, and post them so the other fine folks here at ET can stand in awe of your glowing accomplishments, you just select it thru the browse process, and it shall come to be!

Hint: I suggest you erase the accounts numbers at the end of the number string, and two, no cheating, (wink, wink!). as one can rejigger the numbers, I suppose that too will be inconclusive, (but you might have some fun with it anyhow!).

of course, another option is to post your execution reports page.
that is your trade executions, not your own execution report.

since you seem intent on continuously posting and linking to your results, may as well show the goods to back it up.

Wow so you still at your firm posting on ET? Of course you know me I am posting as I cook dinner for my sugar mamma and two little kids, doing some laundry too.

I really just now read this post from EPrado, say he works for a living and I dont, I live off others and trade from my kids room. Well none of that is true, My wife does work outside of the home, and I work from home, from my office, not my kids room. He says my wife supports me, again not true I am making 5X what my wife makes. I am on track to make close to 200k.

I post my trades, I post a picture of my office. What has he proven. He talks alot but has proven nothing, not one thing.

Correction I make 2X what my wife makes, bless her heart. She has been behind me all these years, and just over the past year have I been able to make better trades. 6 years is how long it has taken. And yes at first she was paying most of the bills.
