My wife wants to play the stocks!!

Explain to her that the Market opens at 9:30 when the View is on, and that the most important Market time in the afternoon is also when General Hospital is on. I think if you put it like that she'll go back to making sure her Housework is done before her show comes on. You might want to up her allowance so she's not entertaining such foolish ideas as playing the Market. If you let her trade, the next you know she'll be trying to cut the grass on your riding mower.

I think your idea of just giving her some play money and letting her at it is a good one. Once the trading bug bites, it bites hard.

She will either come up against the realities of the markets real fast, or she may just surprise you by being one of those people with an in-built talent and intuitive feel for trading.
