I'm a bit perplexed by the risk/reward ratio
Happy trading, but if you don't have the experience already, going paper on IB for a month or two wouldn't hurt. You'll save a lot of money you might otherwise lose that way.

Completely agreed.
I agree, you wont be able to make a living off 2k (like myself lol) but you have to start somewhere!. ALL of that money should be risk capital and should not change your life if all is lost.
Losing is part of learning..trial and error... unfortunately, losing in this business sometimes means losing lots of money. Dont think of losing as being a failure, but rather look at what you could have done better.

total lost less then 20$
wire some $$ to the account to keep the 2k level.
I'll have a look at then futures to see if i find anything good (and that i can afford to manage ...)
will update when something new pops up.

Can someone plz explain me the difference between regular trading account (i.e. ib, tradefreedom and so on.) and a spreads account (e.i. finspreads, capitalspreads and so on.)
Cuz seems to me that from futures side of view (initale margin, maintenance margin) it seems like little advantage. Plus adding quotetracker to there plaform as a API well... i don't know?
