my wages - GBP or USD?

I was recently asked by my company if I would like to continue to be paid in GBP or if I would like to switch over to USD at the current equivalent rate.

I expect to be with this company for the next two years or so, what has the better outlook from here - GBP or USD?

Given their aggressive austerity program I would chose GBP.
