The last few days you've had some premarket trades. Could you share how you know when to get involved premarket as opposed to just after the open? I too use Realtick and they dont have premarket charts for stock so i am curious as to your technique.

yeah man ..its the only pattern i trade ... and gaps of course ..
i have learned that when i stick to something i am already successfull at, i make the most money ... so in most part ..i am patient and when my pattern sets up, i pounce ...

again ..just the action of level two ..and knowing when the momentum is getting extended ... i don't take too many pre-post market trades ... but when i do , it is based purely on watching the ECN action ...

Thanks for the further reply regarding pre-market entry on Insp. I figured it was prolly L2.
In regards to SGTL. I saw that one after the fact and was thankful i didnt have it as i would have probalbly been short inside that first 3 minute bar. If its not too much trouble could you post your likely multiple entry times and exits on this one and your thoughts as the trade went against you. This one would have made me terribly nervous as it hung near the highs all the way until 10:00.
