MKSI, AVL, IMN, MRVL all broke above prev day high for profit. CG popped out of it's channel but saw resistance at 31.50 and faded, not surprising because the move of the market was over. Multiple positions on breakouts will yield profit every time, when the market is rallying. It's the only trading strategy that I use and it's hard to beat. The market is now selling off. The best part of the day for long trades is over.
 
I had stopped watching my streaming alerts and now I see FBC. It broke out of it's channel and broke above prev day high at 11:38am with volume of 781k/avg daily vol 420k, indicating huge buyer interest. The stock rallied more than a point from prev day's high. A fine volume breakout. These are the gems that you hope to see everyday.
 
Boy was that a wild ride....my fills were 57.04, 56.61 on the underlying and 2.65 on the 55 calls. It was a nervous hold for me so i bailed the majority of it at the 20sma on the 5 min. It eventually reached my target of 57.99 but by that time i had nothing left.

but if you watch watch many setups ..you'll see they are profitable 8 out of 10 times ..

It's been a pleasure to share, but I have run out of things to say. My trading strategy is as I have shown it on this thread, and any newbie can learn it. The book, "The Market Maker's Edge", by Josh Lukeman is honest talk about daytrading tactics, that I still enjoy reading.
