my trading...

Opening Orders

Reid,
Give me a PM, as I have traded Opening Orders for the last 3 years. I trade the Opening Order method with Lescor (Corey) via IM, as we are practically trading partners, and great friends. I should be able to point you in the right direction.

Corey and I sat next to each other in the Phoenix ECHO office in 2000. Let me tell you, Corey kicks my butt at the method as he is an excellent trader. Yes, it has a positive expectancy!

PatrickQ

P ,

I may be interested in this ... give me a PM sometime on Monday ..

This has been one of the best threads on this board and to keep it real it's better to not make claims to profitable trades, profitable days and profitable weeks, when it is not possible to verify those claims. It's always after the fact that these trades are posted. I have no way to seperate the fact from the fiction. It's better to review what certain stocks did and talk about the trading strategy and the rationale for why the stock presented a good trading oppertunity. Tell where the entry and exit points are and why you chose those entry and exit points, etc. Your depth of knowledge will show.

yes, I agree...I've been following it since the start.

lot's of useful info...keep it up :)

I too have been following this thread and i just want to thank every one who has contributed. I am just a highschool student with an intrest in the stock market who is currently enrolled in the DECA stock market challenge through my school. As a result of the constantly accumulating knowledge that I have been able to gather from this thread I am currently in 2nd place in my region (South Western Ontario) and 6th place in North America. I thought this as good a time as any other to offer my gratitude.

Thanks Again

6th place sounds good to me. good luck.

for swings, i like long-term bases. Big Pharma hasn't looked too bad. this one is pretty near support. anyone who has read stan weinstein might be tracking this one for a BO?

i also went long TDW - it BO above a downtrend line on the monthly, although i would have liked more volume.

BO on the DT line and then retraced to test - moved up above horizontal resisatnce. i also use this "uptrend bias" on intraday trades, but i keep my swing in position and close my daytrade EOD about 80%, or i carry a small position overnight.

nothing fancy, simple TL & S/R type stuff. and again, higher volume on the BO would have been better. when i grow-up, ill be able to add on the way up rather than looking to sell R. im going back to lurking, just wanted to add something to a good thread.

Good Monday Morning Reid, Q, P, Karol.. and everyone else:p

Ok. It's off and running. Later, I'll be looking for volume breakouts in an uptrend and other uptrenders. Monday is usually a narrow range day, so will have to see what developes.
