my trading...

even though yesterday (fri) seemed like a very volatile day in the indexes .i parameters didn't get hit ..

now ... a few did get close ...and maybe back a couple of years ago i may have entered these 'marginal' setups ..but i have learned this raises my probability for loss exponentially ..

to reiterate..these days i do not take a lot of trades ..however ..my win/loss probabiity is extremely high..

earnings are right around the corner !

well ...its been a bit frustrating to say the least ...

haven't been able to bite into anything good this last week ..

but during these times ..its better to take a step back and breathe ..then to just trade for the action ..

with that being said .. i had nothing yesterday ..

and a partial STP trade today ...

do you ever have those days ..where your timing is off ..and things are just not flowing !! well today was one of those days ..

probably the main reason was because my data was lagging by 90 sec earlier ..which is never a good thing...

all in all ... i booked about $900 ...

FSLR was a bad trade .. on the first entry ..the chart and lvl II said 183 ..and i got 185 fill (used a mkt order ..big mistake)

markets are crazy volatile ..but i believe we trade through 12k and to 11500-11800 ... there is a big low on the dow at 11939 ..this was FEB's (2007) panic low ....

we will see ... stay tuned !
 
Nice work, Mark. But what do you think about the market being pretty resilient today, considering the slew of bad news? Imagine if we only had one fairly okay news, it would have rallied like there's no tomorrow.

one thing i have learned about the markets is they are random ...they will do what they are gonna do ...

but i think 11500-12000 is in the bag ...

anyway ... no trades yesterday as i am still on vacation ... and one small YM trade today
