Still no trades as of yesterday. I would imagine the systems first trade should be taken soon.
A lot of market activity goes by while that system is waiting for a signal. Are you planning to speed it up after it proves out?
It actually made a trade this morning. At least according to collective2. I leave it unattended so I can not confirm what it did. Only that it made a trade and that trade did not work out too well, a loss of around $1,400....
When I get back tonight I will look over to see what had happened. Considering that loss is pretty great compared to its average loss of around $200.... It has me a bit concerned.
However, with the volatility in the market the past few months the losses have been much higher than historically of course. So it may just have been a bad trade..

:eek: The system is finally in its second trade since I set it up last week. Its long currently from 970.25... hopefully this trade works out better than the one last week 
Looks like the system has made 2 trades today, and has now completed 4 total trades since beginning the walk forward phase. Not exactly the results I was hoping for. It appears to still be within historical metrics, however not enough data yet to know.
Granted I wish the strategy would not have started off in a draw down period, but that is just how it goes sometimes. Hopefully in another month or so I will have gathered enough walk forward data to determine if I should put my real money on this system or not.
Total 3 losers 1 winning trade. If I were trading based on discretion I would be getting worried... and letting my emotions get to me like normal...but since its automated, i'm not concerned... not from a sample of just 4 trades.

The strategy had a good day today making +$1,462.... Which is a good sign as it climbs its way out of a draw down period.
This strategy has still been running non stop on Collective2. So far the numbers have not been that impressive, but its showing signs of it turning the corner. Which when I look at the historical results, having a few down months in a row can be expected. I still need a few more months of running it before I can judge if the edge will last.
Results so far have been -14% in oct, -8.9& in nov, and so far up +9.5% in dec.
Granted october consisted of just that one really bad trade since i started it at the end of oct.
