second that!....but don't see anything in the rules to prevent it unless I missed it. It looks legal.

Good one.

Another view which may have already been pointed out, is by having for example 10 accounts, one has 10M to play with rather than 1M. Looks like accounts by Nancy B. were played the same initially and then diversified to other picks later. The accounts that performed better due to better picks, rose to the top while the others faded away. By doing this, a wider range of stock picks could occur.
All of this is akin to cheating. Disqualification for Nancy is the right thing to do.

I agree anybody with multiple entries should be banned.
Don't these assholes at CNBC enforce their own rules?
Say BYE BYE Nancy!

something is FISHY here. i was #983 and only gained 1.9%, now i am at 435. this is impossible. PD, your holding did gain much either, but ranking moved too much from 227 to 6. i think they must recalculated something. they didn't give me my thursday bounus either, although i was right on both. fuck the cnbc shit.

good luck pd though. our difference is between NEW and FMT. my other bets are better than yours.

I'm getting the same type stuff. Half the orders I did on Friday did not execute and now I have a 170K neg cash balance. How'd that happen?

I was running somewhere around top 20% now I'm in the top 99%.

Either I suck or this contest sucks or both.

Yeah, it's likely the latter.

If you're #6 and not making a killing in the real world (ie you NEED to win), it sounds like you must not actually own the stuff you're playing. You might make 20% one day on one stock catching a dead cat bounce, but its only lady luck that you didn't see a bankruptcy filing and a BIG FAT ZERO in the morning.

Maybe that's the difference between me and you guys. My real world portfolio is in the same stuff I'm playing, and its based on FA, not TA.

Looks like a lot of the leaders must have had a bad day, because I only made about 1% but moved up another 650 positions to #1039.

I wouldn't in my right mind play the stuff I'm playing in this silly game. Although I am guilty on Thursday trying to scalp a couple % on NEW. I do think there will be a 10-15% bounceback in the sub primes next week on any given day. I would kill for a 46% gain over a 2-3 year period...lol

It's purely a luck and timing competition. This is probably the closest I will get to win any of these 10 weeks. I really think if I had a 5-10% move on either cvtx or kry, I would have placed first this week. I almost chose cmgi going into Friday and that may have done it for me.

FWIW, I'm all in 1.46M on GMKT on Monday and will dump no matter what it does Monday and mix up 2 or 3 dark horses....maybe bqi or imh for Tuesday.
