The chatroom does have an ignore feature.

See attached.

Simply click on a username you wish to ignore, then click the 'ear' icon with the red 'slash' and the ignore feature is complete. Should you, or the person set to ignore, leave the chat, you'll need to reset the ignore function.

What you say is true. But just for the sake of argument and to put a finer point on it, the Z-Man can still affect the direction and tone of the chat, which the ignore function cannot moderate. Therefore, there is no assurance that you will not inadvertently step into a Z-dropping regardless of the precautionary measures you observe. So, just because you close your eyes (and "ears") to him, does not mean that you will escape his distinctive fragrance in the room.

I don't close my eyes nor my ears to ZZZZzzzzz's posts. He nor his posts bother me. In fact, I don't have anyone in my ignore list (chat or for the boards).

zzzzz has dropped chat lately. He is a perma bull and feels lonely as we work through the subprime mess from all the crooks that scamed others into mortgages that were laughable.

AHH yes, follow your dream in the land of plenty. Plenty of crooks. .. :eek:
 
You folks are missing out on the ultimate enjoyment -- I *don't* have the Ztroll on ignore and yet I ignore him *almost* all the time.

I have the ultimate control so why should I whine. If I want to respond to something he's said, I do. When he begins the Ztroll routine (which is always inevitable), I step away.

Trolls love to control. Asking for their banishment only make them feel powerful. Exercise your own power and just don't let the Ztroll play his games with you. This loss of power leaves him -- well, impotent. (I hope Baron doesn't consider that term denigrating. lol)
