Glass micro balloons are sometimes used to give impact resistance to epoxy potting compounds. Each micro balloon is hollow and virtually indestructible. As such they ought to add weight and insulating value. Those blankets could be very comforting on a cold winter night. Sort of the equivalent to the stack of blankets we liked to snuggle up under when we were kids. And who would know more about that then someone who grew up in Poland, or indeed anywhere in North Eastern Europe? They look mighty inviting to me, and a clever idea. My guess is they'll be a big hit among those in North Dakota or Michigan's upper peninsula. Should be a big seller. They also could be a mechanical challenge to many home washing machines if they are washed without carefully distributing their weight inside the drum.Hummm.... think I’ll order one if these weighted blankets.
