my personal thoughts after 20 years of trading

It takes balls and even more balls to make drastic changes in life like quitting a job you hate, divorce a woman you do no love (anymore), ...
20 years of unprofitable trading or staying in a job you hate is way easier then realizing you are wasting your life and you should do something about it.

Like you said, many people stay in jobs they hate and relationships they are not happy with, if it were so easy to change something about it, why wouldn't they?
Oh and i have some experience, i quit a job i did not like after 3 years, which brought me in a situation where i was uncertain about the future, just keeping the job would have been much easier.
well there is a difference
he does not hate trading, unlike so many people who hate their job
so kudos to him for continue trying
and one more thing
you probably see all the time there are a lot of people coming to this forum asking if its possible to become a trader, if the dream is achievable, asking others to convince them this way or the other, hoping against all odds that if some one did it so can they...
they all are suckers...
there is another kind of people , they do not come here, they do not ask questions if its can be done, they fight alone , quietly, persistently all their life
paraphrasing Kennedy they did not go to trading because it was easy, they went they because its was hard
and no one around them share their motivation, their dream, their effort, not wife not kids, not relatives, not friends - they just left to pick up the pieces after "their idiot" (how they call him) misses his shot at the dream...

You are nearer to the gall, but as Forewind pointed trading is about you, not your system or different teachers/systems. I remember from one of your posts that you are alone in your trading journey, no family or friends supporting you, considering that in India to be an individual trader is, not such commune as in the USA, Canada etc you are a real hero. I believe you just passing your low day and the sun will come. I would say that maybe it is time to stop to search for a better system and dig in yourself? Maybe TopStep can be a solution, with a modest payment they will guide you, monitor, and then fund?
Your problem, if I understand well from your previous posts is not to create a profit but to keep it, to not go on fire once you are on wrong or losing position? So just a little bit more of discipline and the sun will shine! As our friend pilot and trader said - when you go through the thunderstorm, clouds it is like when you are in a trade, just keep going and remember the tools!
Yes he is closer , but can he achieve it within his lifetime - i am not sure about that. Depending on many circumstances: talent, money, personal situation, etc. it may take for most people a few lifetimes (which they of course do not have) to get to this goal.
