My personal experience shows 3x etf is not a fair game

pick like 10 3xetf and short all for months is not a bad strategy especially cut lose if one has strong trend against you in short term. Definitely much better chance than randomize buy index future raise or drop.

even just daily speaking it has a high percent of days not close to exactly 3x. It is pure their and game trap.

Why not list a specific day this happened? Again, armed with this knowledge why aren't you rich from shorting both?

look at any day of dwti and uwti, their daily raise or drop percentage almost never match. Just today day close percentage, do they match? No.

I just find out hole not long time ago and I do plan to short. I do not live in the world for like 1000 years and know everything.

Can you find high percentage of days of dwti and uwti price close percentage is same? No. You cannot. Then they dont exactly follow 3x most of thr time.

I got the complete list of 3X etf from here:

I copy and paste the data to excel. Filter by name contains the term "3x".

50 of these 3x etf has 3 years return. Average 21.1448% lose
60 of these 3x etf has 1 years return. Average 11.80% lose

Basically all of these come with a pair of bull and bear, so it doesn't matter if the markets raise or drop.

So is there delay in real data? Yes. But it is less than what I expect.
