It is relevant because it shows you have a history of lying about yourself or your product to make sales. Specifically you call your software award winning when there is no mention of your software anywhere on the internet that I could find. You also imply throughout that you run a business with employees or a team but it is really only you.

You claim on your site and here and other forums that you want to discuss trading to better yourself or whatever but you showed no participation in trading forums until you decided to try and sell a product. Your entire reason for having a forum presence is to promote yourself. Anyone with a genuine interest in trading would have a history of postings as they developed as a trader. You magically appear one day already a self-proclaimed expert with a product to sell.

Looking at your posting history on traders laboratory I see that you didn't become active until deciding to promote yourself under the guise of wanting to discuss something. BTW if you really don't understand why no one wants to back you, you might want to reconsider your people skills. This post here is not a good way to introduce yourself to a new forum. See why?

Scalping ES for a Living

I see the previous thread here. First, let me start by stating that I'm a *very* successful trader. I am already more successful by measurable means then most. I have 2 of the top ranked futures systems at C2 greater then 6 months old (one discretionary and one quantitative). I've been over there at that other trading forum. However, I'm thinking of moving here because there doesn't seem to be a lot of quality posting going on over there.

I have 2 questions. Please read them carefully.

1. Has anyone taken every trade in Larry Levines trading room with eral money and do the results match the hypothetical results they send out? I seen what happened to the other thread about his program. Please do not share your experience unless you have taken every trade with real money for at least 1 month (or as close as possible).

2. They claim they do around 5k NET per month with only 5k in the account trading 1-3 ES contracts with a max stop of 2 points. They actually average around 7-8k month net. I do not believe that is possible. They claimed over 100k profits last year trading 1-3 contracts. They sent me an Excel file but no real money track record. If anyone here can do that with 5k account and produce real money track results for at least 1 year then I'd be willing to do 2 things: A. Pay you and B. Pay you for mentoring. Again, let me be frank I do not believe that it is possible. I, also, offering mentoring and trade the ES nearly exclusively on hypothetical account. I take proxy trades with rea money at NADEX since April -- for every trade I place. I have very strong returns but nothing like that. The average trade profit is around $20 per trade they claim. This is very low.

I honestly, think, it would be difficult to trade the ES for a living with even 100k. Most everything has told me one needs around 300k to trade for a living.

And your systems are really not that great. They were both underperforming the S+P until a few months ago. Luck comes and goes. You are the greatest in the world ever at predicting everything when you run good on a few trades. And that is in your fantasy land play money results. Shift things just a little bit with real money on the line and real world trading results and you would be a net loser.

I'm not answering to baggerlord. He's full of BS. I don't answer to that fool. I cut out anything that doesn't help my performance and if I think this journal becomes a problem then I'll close it in a heartbeat. If anyone does a copy/paste on his posts then I will immediately put you on ignore too.

Assuming my thread can continue...

I'm now trying to make a decision. I have just barely enough money to trade the futures market as of now. It will require to risk most of my capital. I have to make a decision. I have a few options

1. Take 2k and trade the binary options at NADEX for my rule-based system only.
2. Take 2-3k and trade the spreads and binaries at NADEX for my discretionary+rule based trades. I could be a distraction to run the orders though.
3. Take the 2k and some additional money and open an account at Gen3 broker and shadow all my trades using C2. I have Tradestation but it wont shadow.

Option #1 is low risk and easy to do. Its a no brainer
Option #2 may hurt my 100% focus on trading the futures market but would allow me to make some money from my trades again. I could risk an amount I could afford to lose.
Option #3 requires me to risk my entire savings and make some money movements. However, I could do this without doing any extra work because I'm placing the trades at C2 anyway.

I am debating my options. I like Option #1 a lot. Its almost a no-brainer. I like option #2 but could hurt my performance trying to juggle the NADEX contracts and futures. It is hard for me to justify that when I owe my subscribers 100% performance. Option #3 I like because it would be easy but I'd have to risk my entire savings and more then I really should. However, I really like the aspect I could set it up and not have to do any extra work.

I don't know. I have to think about this.

Just keep ignoring where I point out that you are a liar. You probably deny it even to yourself. I'm suprised your c2 systems haven't won any awards to go along with your software award.
 
This has turned into one of my favorite threads on ET and I look forward to each new post. I went back and read the entire thing like it was a fiction novel b/c ultimately that is what it is. Our hero, who self proclaims himself as having the most trading talent and instinct in the world but yet at the same time can't make any money in the market. In one sentence our hero claims that he has the 2nd to 4th best trading strategy on some internet site while in another sentence you find out that its a paper trading account. He is frustrated that no one will give him money to trade with yet he started a journal on a trading site where his own posts reveal that he loses money consistently. There are claims that he runs a successful market timing service and that he is a trading "savant" but then he posts simple questions about trading like he honestly does not have a single clue about what he is doing. He has every "troll" on ignore but yet magically responds to every comment they make. I mean you can't make this stuff up. Keep it coming.

A couple quick hits:
-you don't need $300k in capital in order to make a living trading. If you need that much money then your system is weak. I could easily make $500k a year buying investment grade corporate bonds paying 5% yields but i would need $10 million dollars in capital, that doesn't mean my "system" needs a lot of capital, it just means my "system" is not a "system".
-If you are in fact the best predictor of market direction in the world, then you would never need a dime from anyone. All you need to do is just predict what direction the market will go and load up on futures contracts or 3x ETFs that direction and keep doubling down your profits each day. Boom you're a trillionaire

Keep the journal up though, it's hilarious.

I'm concerned that my journal at EliteTrader is becoming a distraction. I've had a harasser who has made it difficult for those who want to come here and read this and get value. They will have to wade through dozens of posts of crap.

Coach:
You know that your record at C2 has one had one of the highest sharpe ratios since inception. You know that you've two of only a couple single instrument futures systems that has been profitable long term at C2. These are facts. You also know that your signals have generated 6k of net returns for those who've taken them. You also know that when Microsoft cleared you for hire they noted your software products and creativity as a big plus. Don't answer to those who desire your energy.

I've always said: cut out anything that doesn't benefit your performance. Its time to focus. Your path is accelerating ever faster. You are about to hit your stride again.

However, this journal is coming to a close. We'll continue our conservations in private or perhaps on your blog.

Hahaha what a joke. Everyone else knows you are a liar and a fraud so you have to turn to your multiple personality coach friend to validate your beliefs. This is turning in to the most entertaining journal on ET.

And your ignores mean nothing. You are too egotistical to ignore anything someone has to say about you good or bad.
 
From a Trader´s perspective this thread is 70%-80% useless. It is just entertainment/amusement.
For the most people MoneyManagement and psychology is 70%-80%.
The rest is strategy etc.

We all dealing with the problem that real money(Money with that you can buy your bread and butter etc) is on the table.
I think 95% of the people worldwide can grow up a Papermoney account when doing this like a real Job.


So come on, either you are doing a journal for a small trading account with !!!real money!!! or you learn how to shift around Millions when you think you can be a Fund Manager.


Please don´t make the mistake of opening a big real money account of 46K like your actual account started. This would be a big surprise when you lose your head.


BUT JUST DO IT WITH REAL MONEY.

Thank you for your journal.It's not often that we are exposed to such awesome intellect.In time you may develop into a more rounded individual not so egotistical, self absorbed,self praising and downright obnoxious. I know it is difficult when those around you are so inferior intellectually but it's better not to act so superior in public. Find some others to associate with that are more nearly your equal ( I know that will be difficult ) and tone down the fantastic opinion of yourself in public( another difficult task but you can do it).
I do wish you good fortune in your path to success.
It is not necessary to go through life at sprint speed after all life is a marathon.
