My own personal FannieMae buyback program

Hehe. You guys did not read the Barrons article.

One of the sources in the story was an unidentified Bush official.

Do you trust Bush?

Its a gamble, but I got some more in the low 6s. Every chart has to have a little test. Im betting that tommorrow the Bush administration comes out with some type of refreshing statement sending this thing higher. The Bush official was probably Paulson who released the news to Barrons. Paulson and Bush both complete frauds.

As for oil, Im looking for a bounce right towards the end of the Olympics. I think its a broken chart, but worth a good bounce and its great daytrading the CL right now. Lots of volatility.

So first it was a value investment, now it's a "gamble". And since when has a guess that a government official makes a statement been the basis for a sound investment?

It is never too late to sell. Even if you are down 75% on your investment, that's 25% left in real cash that you can realize right now. Save your money, sell out, and move on. If you for some masochistic reason want to gamble money on a possible $0 per share stock, at the very least do yourself a favour and buy no more shares. If you are going to be a bagholder, at least keep it a manageable position.

Im still here;) I got some more in the 3s today.

This is a bluff. FannieMae aint closing up shop, the government isnt going to take action and you guys are going to sit here posting while there is money to be made.

I just shorted some FNM Sep 5 Calls at $1.35. It seems like a low risk trade trade with the downtrend in FNM.

A low risk trade? to short a stock/call that has dropped by more than 50% in a few days, in the sub $5 dollar range, and with a gigantic short interest?

wtf are you smoking exactly, and can i get some.
