My option trades

Depends on how we finish today. Also, Fed may not ease as much as expected, given the better than expected PMI out today.

agree, and my first thought is if there is an am up move ahead of the meeting release, take it and close the deal.

Yeah, don't want to be around for a quick reversal. My initial thought was that the market would come in a little today, like to 1370 on the ES. So far I've been wrong (still short a few lots though).

tomorrow, wed, aug 1, is the first day of the month and also day of fed statement release, both "should" be short term positive drivers for the market.

Patience pays off.

is that some kind of Fed anouncement play.. that looks like its gonna be worthless at the end of the week

its based on tomorrow being the first trading day of the month, which is usually up, and also that anticipation of the fed release usually sends the market up, so we have 2 short term drivers which could send the market up tomorrow.

i am just looking for a quick pop, could be out tomorrow in the am.

Have you though about a trade that slightly decouples from themarker with beta ... to get more bang for your buck with an up move? How are you taking a post ion on that
