My option trades

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

wait till the last 2 mins and then closed. Was initially at a loss... now turned approximately a G in profits..

LIKE A BAWS SON LIKE A BAWS!!!

EDIT: Cant get too excited here. I was kinda wrong on approx 50% of what I was hoping for... It could easily have been a loss.

So I only take credit for 50% of my profits here

Yeah, I think we trade to 44.00.

I cut it. Ended up flat.
Who knows. I think this is real money selling, which is why we saw nothing in the after hours. The governance issues could be a factor for some of those guys and I don't know how big they could be. Plus I'm paying in theta and vol decay for that privelage.

Cie la vie.

You're the retard who edited his buy to a sell on GOOG's earnings release in 2011. D-bag fraudster.

You do a real disservice to retards and douche bags by putting the likes of FF in with them.

Here is a screen shot of the GOOG april 650 straddle, per TOS it went out at
39.60 or close to the expected move. The vol was 103.22 highlighted in red.
Earnings were a dud in the sense that GOOG opened up flat, meaning punters got killed and anyone who sold vol did well (in general terms). What I am trying to show is the vol collapse, if you do not understand this you should not trade GOOG earnings.

here is todays print of the April 650 straddle both price and vol have come in with the vol at 35.10. This is why you have to be very careful if you trade April contracts which expire today. If you do not understand this then myself or one of the regulars can explain this. :)

Yeah, I had to be out my 9:31 to get the fill. Long calendars are poor risks into reports. I got 140% but not a trade you can do in size.

I'm in a paper trade which is my guess at a Tarzan does Jane.

+10 GOOG Apr 21 650 Calls $19
+10 GOOG Apr 21 630 Puts $14.7
-8 GOOG Apr 13 640 Calls $22.3
-8 GOOG Apr 13 640 Puts $17.5

Cost $2000, Margin requirement = $8000

I'll update tomorrow. my simple outcome calculation:
Goog at $630 or $650: Apr 13's worth ~$10000 ($12x8), Apr 21's worth ~$10000 ($10x10): $0 value - $2000 cost = $2000 loss
Goog at $640: Apr 13's worth $0, Apr 21's worth ~$10000 ($5x20): $10000 value - $2000 cost = $8000 profit

Outside 630 or 650 starts to turn profit. No idea what Apr 21's actual worth will be after IV drop, just a random best guess.

At 630 right now the whole thing has broke even which according to my calculations I would have expected a $2000 loss. Being expiration day helped because the weekly 640 puts have no premium, they are worth $10 instead of $12ish. So on this particular tarzan does jane it worked out quite well.

At certain points in the day it showed a profit of a grand, and I can let the weekly 640 calls expire worthless for a little extra $$. Seems like a fun trade to experiment around with. I could even hold one leg or all of the apr 21's if I had a good indication of the direction.
