Don't worry about me. I am staring success right in the face now. Yep, it's that close. If I restrain myself and limit my trades to 5 or less, I will dramatically increase the probability of success. But I did 34 round trips today.

I inherited some money from my grandfather. :D :D I have plenty of that.

As for draining the mind, I am not sure how that can happen?:confused:
 
Traded the morning, went grocery shopping in the afternoon=missing a huge down trend, came back in the final minutes to catch a couple more trades.

Did 10 round trips, fewer than normal. But If I stayed at home, I might reach 20.

Mistakes: didn't hold, ended up winning ticks, not points.
It seems I have gone back to the old way of trading, but this time I did it consciously. In the past, I did it unconsciously=quick entry and quick exit.

First ratio (12/1) is ok, but second ratio (14.5/4.5) is bad.

Today's mistakes:
1. Did not exit when I should exit, cost me 4.5 points, wiped out nearly half of the profits earned prior to that mistake. I am sure this is not going to be my last mistake. I am going to make this same mistake again and again and again......until I do something effective.
2. Entered a wrong set up, no big deal.
3. Exited early a few times, I don't care as long as there is money to take.

Mistakes:

1. Did not exit. this is a very dangerous habit that I am trying very hard to get rid of. Some of the winners are bad winners.

2. Did not hold. didn't expect the market to offer so much money so quickly today. Expectation is another no no. For every 10 dollars offered, I took 1 or 2. Maybe I cannot be perfect, maybe I shouldn't try to be perfect. No one is perfect. So I'll continue to make mistakes happily.
 
same mistake: did not exit.

Made some changes to my method, made some discoveries, found the two chosen setups are contradictory, so deleted one of them. Put a few more lines of words into the exit rule, made a connection between setup and exit.

Everyday I am learning more, is there an end to the learning?

Also look at the chart of another person's trades. Notice his first entry and last close (exit). The price of his first entry occurred 7 times and technically has a name. As you see by logging his trades he lost over 100 bucks.

How long are you two in the markets compared to the sideline time you spend during a day?

What is the reason you feel one way while in the market and another way when you are sidelined.

Buying groceries is fun during RTH. Are the grocery stores only open during RTH?

Oh do you see those semi colons there? A 1 is between them. Use my post and put a 50 in place of the 1. Does the 50 in there and what those profits are telling you help you to take the time to read my post in the thread you started as a joke?

Think about it.

I am suggesting to you, plain and simple, that you need to begin to start spending your time in thinking about just what is important.

That money is being offered and IT IS THERE for the TAKING.

You need to get it in gear.
